The cheesesteak from the corner that invented it, four to a box, plus a signature Pat’s tee to wear the legend. Order yours “wit” or “wit-out” onions and with Whiz, provolone, or American, piled on thin-sliced beef in a roll. Brothers Pat and Harry Oliveri were running a South Philly hot dog stand in the 1930s when Pat swapped beef and onions for the frank and changed Philadelphia forever. Cheese followed soon after, and Pat’s has been the King of Steaks ever since.
This package serves 4-6 people and includes
- 1 T-Shirt
- 4 Philly Cheesesteaks
- 1 Pouch of Cheese Whiz (4 oz.)
- Each Cheesesteak is 9-10" long
- Choose to have it “Wit” onions, “Wit-Out” onions, with Cheese Whiz, American or Provolone cheeses
- Cheesesteaks arrive fully assembled, aside from Cheese Whiz which will come in a separate container on the side
- Cheesesteaks are made to order, frozen, and shipped with ice packs which may thaw partially or fully during transit
- Recommended Storage: If Cheesesteaks arrive fully frozen they may be stored in the freezer for up to 2 months. If Cheesesteaks arrive thawed, they may be stored in the refrigerator and consumed within 24 hours.
- Cheese Whiz will last 7-10 days refrigerated. Freezing is not recommended.
To Serve
- If frozen: Allow cheesesteaks to thaw overnight
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees
- Remove cheesesteaks from the packaging and place the sandwich on a cookie sheet lined with foil
- Bake for 10-14 minutes or until the bread is lightly crisped and the meat is heated through.
- If the package includes cheese whiz, warm the whiz pouch in warm water or place in a microwaveable-safe bowl and microwave for 10 seconds or until warm. Whiz can also be reheated in a saucepan over medium low heat until warm

The Creators of The Philly Cheesesteak
You’re looking at the creators of Philadelphia’s most iconic item—the Philly cheesesteak. Back in the 1930s, brothers Pat and Harry Olivieri operated a hot dog stand out of South Philly. Legend has it, one day Pat slapped some sliced beef and onions onto the grill instead of the usual hot dog, and piled it in a roll. A taxi driver who stopped by asked to get the same thing, and the legendary sandwich was born. As years passed, cheese was added.
