Some restrictions apply“Aglio e olio” may translate simply to “oil and garlic,” but that doesn’t mean it’s an easy dish to make! Thankfully, Chef Nic has done the work for you, creating an elegant dish that pairs spaghetti with a flavorful sauce of roasted garlic, lemon zest, parsley, a hint of red pepper, and olive oil. With some shrimp on top and a zesty glass of sauvignon blanc to drink, this dish is pasta perfection. And garlic bread is included on the side!
After chef Nic Bryon was laid off from his job at one of Tampa’s trendiest restaurants at the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, he teamed up with his brother Greg and translated his love for all things pasta into Pasta Packs. Each Pasta Pack includes everything you need to enjoy a handmade pasta experience in the comfort of your own home, from fresh handmade pasta to slow-cooked sauces to fresh proteins, each in their own sealed packs, along with step-by-step cooking instructions.

Pasta Kit Options Include
- Aglio e Olio with Shrimp Kit (Serves 4)
- Fresh Spaghetti Pasta (1 lb.)
- Parsley Sauce (10 oz.)
- Shrimp (16 oz.)
- Shaved Garlic (3 oz.)
- Pecorino Romano (2 oz.)
- Garlic Butter (3 oz.)
- 8 slices Bread (8 oz.)
- Aglio e Olio with Shrimp Kit (Serves 8)
- Fresh Spaghetti Pasta (2 lbs.)
- Parsley Sauce (19 oz.)
- Shrimp (2 lbs.)
- Shaved Garlic (6 oz.)
- Pecorino Romano (4 oz.)
- Garlic Butter (6 oz.)
- 16 slices Bread (1 lb.)
- Pasta Kits ship with ice packs, may thaw in transit.
- Upon arrival, place in the refrigerator until ready to prepare.
- If you will not enjoy within 2-3 days, freeze the pasta and protein pack.
- Each pack may be frozen for up to 1 month.
- Sauce can remain in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.
- Pecorino romano and other cheeses should be kept in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
To Serve
- If frozen, thaw frozen Protein Packs overnight in the refrigerator. Pasta can remain frozen until ready to cook.
- Bring a pot of lightly salted water to a boil. For best results, prepare pasta and sauce at the same time.
- Meanwhile, heat a separate sauté pan on low heat. Add the shaved garlic to the warm pan. Cook garlic for 1-2 minutes until it begins to sweat, but do not color.
- Open the Oil and Parsley Pack with kitchen shears. Add to the garlic and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Open the Pasta Pack and add pasta to the boiling water, stirring often. Pasta will need to cook for 4-5 minutes (8-10 minutes, if frozen) or until al dente.
- After approx. 3-4 minutes (7-8 minutes, if frozen), check one of the noodles for al dente texture.
- Open thawed Shrimp Pack and add to the aglio e olio. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Time to taste the dish! You should be tasting fresh lemon, parsley, and a slight kick from the red pepper and aromatic garlic. Flavor as desired, it may need a dash of salt & pepper or maybe a light squeeze of a lemon.
- Once your desired flavor is achieved, begin to plate your pasta. Remember to twist & twirl for presentation.
