Mike Amvros emigrated from Greece to the borough of Queens, New York, in 1975, and 11 years later he opened his first business, Oasis Cafe. Since then, the bakery has become a cornerstone of the community and a true oasis, with one of the city’s largest garden seating areas and a wide array of Greek and classic American desserts for every taste. Oasis Cafe is a true melting pot, just like its native Queens.

Pastries Include
- 20 Coconut Baklava Bites – Layers of fillo sheets filled with an incredibly delicious honey mixture with shredded coconut & walnuts.
- 20 Chocolate Pistachio Baklava Bites – Bittersweet chocolate, pistachios, and honey are paired together in between layers of buttery fillo.
- 20 Kataifi Bites – Chopped walnuts and cinnamon wrapped into buttered, crispy kataifi dough and bathed in lemon-scented syrup.

There’s no shortage of classic Greek treats on the menu at Oasis Cafe, from baklava to kataifi bites to the soft and fluffy sweet bread called tsoureki. But the Amvros family is also putting their ample pastry skills to good use by turning out a wide variety of cakes, cannoli, red velvet truffles, and even a signature baklava cheesecake.
