O&H Bakery’s festive recipe takes a little cocoa, a touch of Irish whisky, and a little cream, blending them into a dazzling scratch-made filling. Wrapped in flaky and tender pastry, each Kringle is finished with creamy frosting, chocolate curls, and green sprinkles.
Founded by Danish immigrant Christian Olesen in 1949, O&H Danish Bakery in Racine, Wisconsin, continues the Olesen family tradition of baking excellence with the fourth generation of children and bakers now baking varieties of delicious Dutch kringle, a buttery, flaky oval-shaped fruit or nut-filled pastry that was honored as Wisconsin’s official state pastry in 2013. O&H Danish Bakery handmakes its award-winning kringle in flavors like almond, cherry cheese, raspberry, and pecan.
This package serves 24 people and includes 2 Irish Cream Kringles
- Each Kringle measures approx. 12″ × 9″ × 1″ and weighs approx. 2 lbs.
- Kringle arrives ready to enjoy!
- To thaw, let stand for 6 hours at room temperature or 12 hours in a refrigerator.
- Kringle is best served at room temperature or warmed in the oven.
To Serve
- To warm, remove the Kringle from the wax bag, plastic sheet, and plastic tray.
- Place in a 350 degree oven for 3 1/2 minutes.
- Kringle can also be warmed in a microwave.
- When ready to serve, cut Kringle into 1 or 2 inch slices.
