Since 2010, chef Christian Nye has been pairing artisan ice cream and handmade cookies to create whimsical, elevated ice cream sandwiches in Wilmington, North Carolina. Nye’s Cream Sandwiches include flavor combinations like Coconut Chocolate (toasted coconut ice cream and chocolate ganache cookies), Strawberry Shortcake (strawberry ice cream and sugar cookies), and Key Lime Pie (Key lime ice cream and chewy graham cookies. Nye’s Cream Sandwiches has been featured on O, The Oprah Magazine’s The O List.
