Every pie at Michele’s Pies is made by hand at Michele Stuart’s eponymous gourmet pie shop in Norwalk, Connecticut. Since opening in 2007, Michele’s Pies has won 33 National Pie Championship awards for pies like Chocolate Pecan Bourbon Pie, Apple Crumb Pie, and Maple Pumpkin Pie with Pecan Streusel. Whether the small Connecticut bakery’s team is steaming fresh pumpkins to go into their heavenly pumpkin pies, hand-crimping each pie crust, or sprinkling pie tops with roasted nuts and streusel, every Michele’s pie is perfect. Michele’s Pies have been featured on “Throwdown with Bobby Flay” and were featured in the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards gift bags.
This package serves 6-8 people and includes an Australian Beef Pie
- Each pie measures approx. 9" and weighs approx. 3.37 lbs.
- Pie ships frozen with ice packs, may thaw during transit.
- Upon arrival, store pie in the refrigerator or in the freezer.
- Pie may be stored for up to 2 days in the refrigerator or up to 3 months in the freezer.
To Serve
- Thaw pie in the refrigerator overnight.
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Remove pie from plastic packaging, place on a sheet pan, and brush the crust with cream or milk (not included).
- Bake pie for 15 minutes.
- Reduce oven temperature to 350°F.
- Cook for another 45 minutes, or until golden brown (internal temperature should be at least 165°F).
- Remove from oven and allow to sit for 5-10 minutes.
- Slice, serve, and enjoy!
- Crust – Flour, Vegetable Shortening, Water, Salt.
- Filling – Beef, Cheddar Cheese, Onion, Brown Gravy.

Michele just seems to be doing everything right as she continues to win first place for her pies year after year. How can we argue with that?
