Founded by Mendy Merel in 1998, the Glatt-Kosher deli in Manhattan is known for its exceptional corned beef, pastrami, and legendary meal-worthy soups.

As seen on Seinfeld, Mendy’s is a GLATT KOSHER Delicatessen — under OU Kosher supervision.

This product is manufactured in a facility that is strictly kosher for Passover.

This package serves 6-8 people and includes

  • 1 box Matzah (1 lb.)
  • Matzah Ball Soup (2 qts.)
  • Brisket (1 lb.)
  • Gravy (½ pt.)
  • 1 Potato Kugel (1.5 lbs.)
  • Matzah Farfel (1 qt.)
  • Charoset (½ pt.)
  • Coleslaw (1 pt.)

  • 3 Roasted Hard Boiled Eggs (Eggs May Arrive Cracked)

  • Mendy’s hand slices their Kosher deli meats to order, then freezes them just before shipping with ice packs.
  • Meats are fully cooked and may thaw partially or fully during transit.
  • Upon arrival, store all meats, kugel, soup, cole slaw, and capon in the refrigerator until ready to eat.
  • Enjoy within 4 days or freeze the meats and soup for up to 1 month.
  • The other non-meat items should be enjoyed within one week.
  • Freezing the cole slaw is not recommended.

To Serve

Seder plate items should be kept in the refrigerator—assemble on the plate at the time of use:

  • Charoset
  • Marror
  • Roasted Bones

Pastrami, Brisket, and Capon

  • If frozen, thaw meat & gravy in the refrigerator overnight.
  • Remove meat from the refrigerator two hours before serving or heating.
  • Add gravy to brisket and capon before warming.
  • To warm, place in oven at 300℉ for 10 minutes.
    • Alternatively, you can heat in the microwave for 30 seconds (using a microwave-safe plate or dish).
  • Enjoy!

Matzah Ball Soup, Gravy, Matzah Farfel, Corned Beef, Turkey and Stuffed Cabbage

  • Microwave until hot or heat in the oven at 250℉ for 15-20 minutes.
  • Enjoy!

Kugel

  • Preheat the oven to 300℉.
  • Place in an oven-safe baking dish.
  • Heat until warm throughout.
