

Smoked Chicken + Sausage Okra Gumbo for 6-8

An Authentic Cajun Recipe cooked traditionally with a hand-made dark roux, onions, peppers, celery, smoked chicken and Andouille sausage. Thickened with okra for a stew so good you’ll claim it as your own! Served with white rice, and comes with a bottle of Melissa’s Cherry Bomb Hot Sauce and Woo Woo Sauce.

This package serves 6-8 people and includes
- 2 bags Chicken, Sausage & Okra Gumbo (each 2 lbs.)
- 2 bags Cooked White Rice (each 8 oz.)
- 1 bottle Cherry Bomb Hot Sauce (6 oz.)
- 1 bottle Woo Woo Sauce (12 oz.)
- Gumbo ships frozen with dry ice, may dissipate in transit.
- Do not remove dry ice with bare hands.
- Upon arrival, store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, or keep frozen for up to 6 months.
To Serve
- If frozen, place in the refrigerator to thaw overnight before preparing.
Gumbo – Boiling
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
- Add bag of gumbo to pot and bring back to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
- Add in bag of rice and allow to simmer for 20 minutes.
- Carefully open bags as contents will be hot.
- Serve over rice and enjoy!
Gumbo – Stovetop
- Pour contents of gumbo bag into a large soup pot and heat until above 165°F.
- Serve and enjoy!
