- Pastries arrive frozen and unbaked
- Each croissant measures approx. 4″ × 2″ and weighs approx. 3 oz.
- Each danish measures approx. 3″ × 3″ and weighs approx. 1.45 oz.
- Each kouign-amann measures approx. 3″ × 3″ and weighs approx. 2.82 oz.
Kouign-Amann: What You Need At Home (Not Included):
- Butter
- Granulated Sugar
- 12-cup Muffin Pan
- Pastries ship frozen with dry ice.
- Dry ice may dissipate in transit.
- Do Not remove dry ice with bare hands.
- Upon arrival, place pastries immediately in the freezer (refrigeration not recommended).
- May be stored in the freezer for up to 150 days.
To Serve
Croissants
- Preheat oven to 350°F with rack in the middle of the oven.
- While oven preheats, place frozen croissants on a parchment-lined baking sheet 2-inches apart. Let thaw for 10 minutes. (Baking from a frozen solid state is not recommended.)
- Place the baking sheet on the middle rack and bake until golden brown on the outside, 30-32 minutes, rotating sheet halfway through for even browning.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Serve and enjoy!
Danishes
- Preheat oven to 350°F with rack in the middle of the oven.
- While oven preheats, place frozen danishes on a parchment-lined baking sheet 2-inches apart. Let thaw for 10 minutes. (Baking from a frozen solid state is not recommended.)
- Place the baking sheet on the middle rack and bake until golden brown on the outside, approx. 22-24 minutes, rotating sheet halfway through for even browning.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool 5 minutes on the tray before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Serve and enjoy!
Kouign-Amann: What You Need At Home (Not Included):
- Butter
- Granulated Sugar
- 12-cup Muffin Pan
Kouign-Amann: Baking Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F with rack in the middle of the oven.
- While oven preheats, remove pastries from freezer and let thaw at room temperature, about 10 minutes. (Baking from a frozen solid state is not recommended.)
- Lightly butter a standard 12-cup muffin pan. Dip pastries in a bowl of granulated sugar to generously coat and then place in the prepared muffin pan, fold-side up.
- Bake on the middle rack until golden brown, 24-26 minutes, rotating pan halfway through for even browning.
- While pastries bake, prepare a wire rack with parchment paper. Remove pastries from oven and immediately transfer to parchment-lined rack to prevent sticking. Let cool before serving.
- Serve and enjoy!
