Not eligible for shipping to CanadaLos de Juárez’s Deshebrada Burritos are filled with tender, shredded beef, slow-cooked with traditional spices and wrapped in a handmade flour tortilla along with potatoes and refried beans.
Before burritos were big enough to feed a small family, they were much smaller – about a quarter the size of the popular Mission-style burrito – and were a much more artisanal product. That’s exactly what Los de Juarez Burritos, which was founded in Anaheim in 2024 and has since exploded in popularity, is doing. Juárez native Omar De la Vega and Juan Del Rio are bringing the true essence of the original Chihuahua-style burrito to Southern California – and they might just be the best burritos you’ll ever try.

Handmade, Authentic Chihuahua-Style Burritos

Before burritos were big enough to feed a small family, they were much smaller – about a quarter the size of the popular Mission-style burrito – and were a much more artisanal product. That’s exactly what Los de Juarez Burritos, which was founded in Anaheim in 2024 and has since exploded in popularity, is doing. Los de Juarez’s deceptively filling burritos start with tortillas handmade in-house daily with a blend of lard and butter. They’re filled with nothing but scratchmade guisados (stews) including Chile Colorado (beef braised in red chile sauce and potato), slow-braised Beef Birria, and shredded Beef Deshebrada. The Chile Relleno burritos, with deep-fried, cheese-filled fire-roasted poblanos, frequently sell out within an hour! These border-style burritos are a true taste of Mexican culinary authenticity, and now they’re shipping nationwide!
