Loro’s Oak Smoked Beef Brisket Sandwich is a true showstopper. The melt-in-your-mouth brisket is slow-smoked, chopped, and topped with a refreshingly crunchy papaya salad, a sprinkle of peanuts, and (for a bit of heat) a drizzle of chili aioli that perfectly complements the smoky flavors of the brisket.

In 2018, two of Austin’s most renowned and beloved chefs, Tyson Cole and Aaron Franklin, decided to join forces and open Loro Asian Smokehouse & Bar in Austin, Texas. With their award-winning gastronomic powers combined, they created a culinary experience that captured the hearts, minds (and bellies) of devoted fans.

  • Brisket Sandwich Kit for 8 (Makes 8 Sandwiches)
    • 8 Martin’s Potato Buns (each 6 oz.)
    • Beef Brisket (3 lbs.)
    • Papaya Salad (2 lbs.)
    • Tomatoes (1 lb.)
    • Dressing (6 oz.)
    • Peanuts (4 oz.)
    • Jalapeño Aioli (8 oz.)

    • Brisket Sauce (12 oz.)
  • Sandwich Kits ship with ice packs, may thaw in transit.
  • Upon receipt, place all contents in the refrigerator.
  • Items can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Freezing not recommended.

To Serve

  • Place the brisket in a pot and add the brisket sauce.
  • Heat on medium until the chopped brisket is hot.
  • Toast the buns.
  • Spread the aioli on the top and bottom of each bun.
  • Toss the papaya salad and tomatoes with all of the dressing provided, then add chopped peanuts on top.
  • Assemble sandwich, serve with pickle spear.
  • Eat & Enjoy!
