Chef Dan Kluger won the 2011 James Beard Award for his masterful cooking at New York’s ABC Kitchen and was a 2014 James Beard Award Nominee for Best New Chef New York City, and his Loring Place has been one of Greenwich Village’s most acclaimed restaurants since it opened in 2016. Kluger has become renowned for his creative, market-driven, vegetable-forward dishes, and the rectangular pan pizza known as Grandma-style has been the star of the Loring Place menu for years. This signature pizza is so beloved that in 2021 Kluger gave it its own offshoot, called Washington Squares.
This package serves 6-8 people and includes
- 3 Mushroom Grandma Pizzas
- 3 packets Chili Crisp
- 3 packets Sea Salt
- Each pizza serves 2-3 people and measures approx. 12″ × 9″
- Choose to add a signed copy of “Chasing Flavor” by Chef Dan Kluger!
- Pizzas ship frozen with ice packs, may thaw during transit.
- Upon arrival, store pizzas in the refrigerator or in the freezer.
- Pizzas may be stored for up to 2 days in the refrigerator or up to 2 months in the freezer.
To Serve
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Remove pizza from plastic, place on a baking sheet, and bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove pizza from sheet and place directly on oven rack for another 10 minutes, or until crispy on the bottom.
- Top with chili crisp condiment and sprinkle with sea salt.
- Slice, serve, and enjoy!
