- If pies are still frozen when they arrive or are cool to the touch, place them in the freezer and bake them within 30 days.
For the best experience, bake from a defrosted state according to the following instructions
- Completely defrost pie.
- Remove plastic wrap. Leave pie in paper bag.
- Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 60 minutes.
- Remove from oven; slit top of bag and peel back to expose top of crust of pie.
- Return to oven for 20 minutes or until top is golden brown.

Long Grove Confectionery was founded as a retail shop and candy kitchen in the quaint village of Long Grove, Illinois, back in 1975. It quickly became so popular that it outgrew the small red building, and today it’s such a popular retail and wholesale operation that it’s based out of two state-of-the-art Chicago-area production facilities.
Their best-known product is the Myrtle, fresh-roasted salted pecans covered with buttery caramel and smothered in rich chocolate, and they also specialize in chocolates, barks, brittles, caramels, coated pretzels, peanut butter cups, meltaways, and baked goods.
