Some restrictions applyThe perfect amount of sweetness for your High Holiday table. This package includes two of Liv Breads’ most traditional High Holiday products including one round, beautifully braided challah, and one honey loaf cake. If you’re looking for a dairy-free (pareve) option, this is the package for you!
Their round challah makes a beautiful statement on the holiday table. A bit larger than a regular challah, the dough is intricately braided into a traditional round shape used for the High Holidays. As with their regular challah, it’s baked on the darker side to create a wonderfully caramelized crust and a light and fluffy interior (pareve, dairy-free). The honey cake finds the perfect balance between spice and sweetness, while offering a moist and delicate crumb. The batter is infused with honey and a mix of spices that includes cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and ginger, and is brushed with a honey glaze after baking (milchig, dairy). These products are only available once a year, during the month of September.
Founders Yaniv and Elana Livneh and Bary Yogev opened Liv Breads with the desire to bring a European-style bakery to the suburbs of New Jersey and immediately won the hearts of locals with their focus on technique, ingredients, and hospitality. They created a community gathering place that’s become so successful that they opened a second location in a local upscale mall, expanded the size and offerings in their original location, and opened an additional production facility to meet demand.
