When Joseph Liebman opened Liebman’s Kosher Deli in 1953, there were more than 100 Jewish delis in the Bronx. Today, Liebman’s is the only kosher Jewish deli left standing. In 1980, Joseph Dekel, a native Israeli, bought the kosher deli and went to great lengths to preserve Liebman’s old recipes. When Dekel passed away in 2002, his son Yuval took over. Walking into Liebman’s Kosher Deli is a time warp—from its simple neon sign, to the no-frills Formica tabletops and padded booths, this Bronx deli is a genuine taste of classic New York.

- Items ship frozen with ice packs, may thaw in transit.
- Upon arrival, store items in the refrigerator or freezer.
- All items should be eaten within 2-3 days once thawed.
To Serve
Brisket
- Smother brisket in gravy or a few spoons of chicken broth.
- Gently warm in a 275℉ oven in a covered baking dish until fully heated through.
- Serve and enjoy!
Roast Chicken
- Place chicken in an oven-safe packing dish.
- Cover with foil, and heat at 325℉ for 20 minutes.
- Uncover and continue heating for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, serve and enjoy!
Stuffed Cabbage
- Place stuffed cabbage roll(s) in a pot and cover with sweet & sour raisin gravy.
- Heat on low occasionally stirring until the internal temperature of the roll reaches 140ºF.
- Serve and enjoy!
Tsimmes – Oven
- Place in a baking dish, and cover with aluminum foil.
- Heat at 350℉ for 15 to 20 minutes. (Be careful not to burn the bottom.)
- Serve and enjoy!
Tsimmes – Microwave
- Place in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 3 minutes on medium-high.
- Stir, and continue heating for an additional 2 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy!
Potato Kugel
- Reheat kugel in a 325℉ oven for 10-15 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy!
Gravy
- Microwave gravy on medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve and enjoy!
