Lenny’s Clam Bar’s tartufo is a decadent Italian-inspired dessert featuring a rich, creamy ice cream center encased in a decadent chocolate shell. It’s handmade with vanilla and chocolate ice cream, roasted marinated almonds, a whole red glazed cherry in the center or pistachio, and covered in a special blend of chocolate.

Tucked away in the quiet neighborhood of Howard Beach, Queens, Lenny’s Clam Bar has become a beloved local landmark since Italian immigrant Joseph DeCandia first opened its doors back in 1974. Lenny’s quickly developed a reputation for great seafood and Italian-American classics, and a series of commercials featuring DeCandia made it a household name in New York. Today run by Joseph DeCandia, Jr., Lenny’s remains one of the most iconic restaurants in Queens.
