It includes six of Kossar’s freshly baked bagels or bialys, your choice of cream cheese and smoked fish salad, smoked salmon for an extra touch of luxury, a dozen mini black and white cookies, and a pastrami sandwich kit from Pastrami Queen, including one pound of sliced pastrami, eight slices of unseeded rye bread, four pickles, and New York deli mustard.
Founded by Isadore Mirsky and Morris Kossar in 1936, Kossar’s Bialys is the oldest bialy bakery in the U.S., most famous for its bialys, a chewy bread named after The Jews from Bialystok, Poland. Perfect for breakfast or as dinner accompaniment, Kossar’s Bialys are not to be missed.
Originally named Pastrami King when it was founded in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, in 1956, this quintessential New York deli eventually relocated to Queens (hence the name change), then Manhattan’s Upper East Side and Upper West Side. Wherever they’ve resided, Pastrami Queen still serves the same high-quality, tender, juicy, smoky New York pastrami they been crafting since day one. it’s no wonder Anthony Bourdain called their hand-carved, overstuffed pastrami sandwiches “the real deal.”

- This package ships with ice packs, ice packs may thaw in transit.
- Bagels + Bialys are all natural, without any preservatives, and may be stored at room temperature for up to 2 days.
- If you wish to keep the bagels or bialys for later, they may be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months. We recommend slicing before freezing.
- Store lox, cream cheese, and salads in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- Store pastrami, pickles, and mustard in the refrigerator, and keep rye bread at room temperature. We do not recommend refreezing pastrami.
- Enjoy pastrami within 2 days.
To Serve
Pastrami Sandwich
- If frozen, thaw meat in the refrigerator. Do not thaw in the microwave.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
- Place the entire UNOPENED package of meat into the water and reduce heat to a simmer (no worries – the package can withstand the heat).
- Simmer meat for 12-15 minutes. Carefully remove from water and slice open package.
- There will be enough for 4 large sandwiches or 6-8 regular-size sandwiches.
- Enjoy with the included pickles and mustard.
- Serve and enjoy!
Bagels + Bialys
- Bagels + Bialys may be enjoyed right out of the bag, or lightly toasted to bring out even more of the flavor.
- From frozen, wrap in foil and reheat in a 400° F oven for 5 minutes or just toast them.
