Each cake is made for us by hand from a recipe handed down through generations of ladies from Smith Island, Maryland. Smith Island (population 350) is situated in the middle of the Chesapeake Bay just north of the Virginia line and is accessible only by boat. Serve this uniquely different multi-layer cake at your next party and watch eyes light up and smiles appear.
Nestled in the Chesapeake Bay on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, Kent Island Crab Cakes has been serving gourmet crab for three generations. Since Ron and Margie Kauffman established Kent Island Crab Cakes in 1980, the seafood purveyor has been preparing the finest Maryland style jumbo lump crab cakes made with Maryland blue crabs.
