KellyBronze turkeys roam freely in sun-dappled pastures, foraging naturally, growing slowly, and living as nature intended. They are dry-plucked by hand and traditionally hung in cool air to naturally deepen the flavor and tenderize the meat.

Because the turkeys never touch water, their skin stays dry—no excess moisture, no bacteria build-up, and no need for plastic. Each bird is simply wrapped in greaseproof paper, placed in a box, and accompanied by a meat thermometer, ready for roasting.

Turkey arrives raw and requires cooking.

  • Turkey breast ships fresh with no coolant.
  • Upon arrival, store in the refrigerator for up to 10 days after the arrival date.

To Serve

  • Remove from the refrigerator and allow the breast to come up to room temperature (2 hours at the minimum) to avoid shocking the meat when it goes into a hot oven.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F
  • In an oven-safe baking dish, cut and place your favorite vegetables & fill with 500ml of water.
  • Place the turkey breast side up and do not cover it in foil.
  • Monitor the temperature regularly by putting the thermometer halfway in through the thickest part of the meat.
  • Remove the bird from the oven as soon as the temperature reads 140°F.
  • Leave the bone in the breast and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  • Serve and enjoy!

This purebred turkey is a unique breed grown wild in the foothills of Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains, fed on a fresh mash of corn and soy milled on the farm, and grown to twice the age of standard turkeys, resulting in big flavor and extra marbling.
