For 70 years, Junior’s matzoh ball soup has been their signature menu. It all begins with a good chicken stock, which founder Walter Rosen called “making wine from water.” From there, handmade, fluffy Matzoh balls are simmered in the rich chicken stock, carrots, and egg noodles. From Junior’s Brooklyn kitchen to yours!
Split Pea Soup
Split soup has also been a staple on Junior’s menu for decades. Several simple ingredients including green split peas that have been soaked and the core vegetable base simmered slowly in chicken stock. Top with house made croutons, and it’s like you are sitting in the dining room of Junior’s!
