Junior’s original New York cheesecake blended with white chocolate, swirled with fresh strawberry purée, and hand-finished with a white chocolate mousse border and red chocolate shavings — shaped as a heart. From the Flatbush and DeKalb Brooklyn landmark Harry Rosen opened on Election Day 1950; the cheesecake the New York Times called “the best in the material world,” in the shape best suited to Valentine’s Day.
