Juliana's Pizza, the Brooklyn institution beneath the Brooklyn Bridge behind coal-fired, thin-crust pizza with perfectly charred edges, was opened in 2012 by legendary pizzaiolo Patsy Grimaldi — who came out of retirement with his wife Carol to return to the very building where he first made his name. The hand-built coal oven beneath that bridge was the first of its kind commissioned in New York City in over fifty years.
Named for his mother, run by the man who defined Brooklyn pizza, and baked in an oven built to last generations — Juliana's is shipped nationwide on Goldbelly.
