After establishing himself as one of America’s most renowned Southern chefs – winning the James Beard Award for Best Chef Southeast in the process – chef Sean Brock made the bold decision to to open four ambitious and unique Nashville F&B endeavors including the retro-inspired Joyland. At Joyland, which opened in 2020, the “Chef’s Table” star has turned his attention to two of the most delicious foods and earth: burgers and fried chicken sandwiches. Brock has put the same care and attention to classic American fast food as he does to fine dining fare, with astonishing results.
This package serves 8 people and includes everything you need to make 8 Chicken Biscuits
- 8 Fried Chicken Cutlets (each approx. 1.5 oz.)
- 8 Biscuits (each approx. 3.75 oz.)
- Hot Honey (12.5 oz.)
- BBQ Seasoning (2 oz.)
- Each biscuit measures approx. 3.25″ × 3.25″
ADD-ON OPTIONS INCLUDE
- Hashbrowns (16 pieces)
- Items with ice packs, may thaw during transit.
- Upon arrival, place items in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
To Serve
- Preheat oven to 350° F
- Remove biscuits & fried chicken from packaging.
- Place biscuits & fried chicken on a lined baking tray.
- Bake for 8 minutes, until biscuits are warmed through and chicken reaches 165° F.
- Carefully remove tray from oven and allow biscuits to cool until safe to handle, around 3 minutes
- For extra flavor and softness, brush biscuits with melted butter while hot.
- Once safe to handle, carefully split biscuits in half with a serrated knife and open.
- Place chicken portions onto split biscuits, dust chicken with BBQ powder, add a drizzle of hot honey, and place top to build the biscuit sandwich.
- Enjoy!
Fries
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Spread out on a lined baking tray and add to preheated oven – cook until crispy, around 18 minutes (15 minutes for convection oven).

Joyland’s roadside-style burgers start with a custom blend of grass-fed beef from Tennessee’s Bear Creek Farm, and they’re seared to crusty perfection on a griddle before being topped with American cheese, onion, pickles, and secret Joy Sauce. And as for the fried chicken sandwiches, they’re made by dredging chicken thighs in buttermilk and seasoned flour before being fried golden-brown and topped with BBQ seasoning, pickle slaw, and Joy Sauce. Joyland has earned heaps of praise and commanded lines out the door since it first opened, and now it’s shipping nationwide!
