It’s all rubbed down with a spice blend that includes brown sugar, pepper, paprika, cayenne, chili powder, garlic, and onion before being slowly smoked over hickory. It’s even better when slathered with your choice of Jimmy Jack’s iconic BBQ sauces!
Jimmy Adrian and Jack Piper grew up together in Iowa City, Iowa, and bonded over their love of all things barbecue. They both became seasoned BBQ experts, spending their spare time tracking down great ‘cue and judging barbecue competitions. In 2005, the duo took the obvious next step and opened up Jimmy Jack’s Rib Shack, which is today renowned as one of the very best BBQ joints in Iowa.
This package serves 10-12 people and includes
- 2 racks of Ribs (each approx. 2 lbs.)
- Pulled Pork (2 lbs.)
- 25 Chicken Wings (each approx. 2 oz.)
- BBQ Sauce, your choice (16 oz.)
- Habanero Wing Sauce (8 oz.)
- Each rack contains approx. 10-13 ribs
Sauce Options Include
- Original BBQ Sauce – Slightly sweet with a little kick, this one is the original barbecue sauce that started it all
- Carolina Mustard BBQ Sauce – Southern-style sweet & tangy, the second addition to the Jimmy Jack’s line is a home favorite
- Cowboy BBQ Sauce – Thick, smoky, tangy & sweet, this is a blend of powerhouse flavors. The perfect balance doesn’t exist.. oh wait.
- Chicago Fire BBQ Sauce – A little sweet & a lot of heat, prepare for the fiery punch of flavor! Calling all spice lovers, if nothing else seems to satisfy your desire, we welcome you to Chicago Fire
- Sampler ships frozen with ice packs, may thaw during transit.
- Upon arrival, store ribs, pork, and wings in the refrigerator or in the freezer.
- Upon arrival, store sauce at room temperature, refrigerate after opening.
- Ribs, pork, and wings may be stored for up to 4 days in the refrigerator or up to 4 months in the freezer.
To Serve
Ribs
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Remove from packaging, wrap each slab of ribs in foil, and place on a sheet pan.
- Remove from packaging, place ribs in a baking dish, and cover tightly with foil.
- Heat for approx. 45-60 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Serve with sauce and enjoy!
Pulled Pork
- Preheat oven to 250°F.
- Remove from packaging, place pork in a baking dish, and cover tightly with foil.
- Heat for 25 minutes and check internal temperature (165°F is what you’re looking for). If needed, heat for an additional 5-10 minutes.
- Serve with sauce and enjoy!
Wings
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Remove from packaging, line a sheet pan with foil, and spray with a nonstick spray.
- Arrange wings in a single layer and place in the oven.
- Bake for 30-45 minutes (165°F is what you’re looking for). If needed, heat for an additional 5-10 minutes.
- Heat wing sauce in a saucepan over medium-low heat till warm.
- Toss wings in sauce.
- Serve and enjoy!
