To Serve
Lumpia: Stovetop Method
- Heat a quarter inch of neutral oil in a medium-deep frying pan and place on medium-high heat.
- Once hot, fry lumpia on one side until golden brown, approximately 3-5 minutes.
- Repeat on other side!
Lumpia: Oven (or Air-fryer)
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Line lumpia on a sheet tray with parchment paper. Use a small amount of neutral oil to prevent sticking and extra crisp! Pro-tip: if available, bake lumpia with a baking rack, atop sheet tray + parchment paper for easy cleaning!
- Once preheated, place in oven for 7-10 minutes, flipping lumpia halfway through cook time.
- Best when served warm/hot and fresh! Enjoy!
Sauce: Microwave
- Place frozen sauce into microwaveable bowl.
- Microwave for 30 seconds.
- Stir.
Sauce – Thaw
- Thaw in refrigerator overnight.
BBQ Skewers: Stovetop/Oven Method
- In a medium-large skillet (or griddle, if available), add a tablespoon of neutral oil of your choice (i.e. canola, avocado, etc.).
- Place atop the stove and bring heat up to medium-high. Once pan/griddle is hot, place skewers and sear.
- Sear skewers on all sides for about 2 minutes each, looking for deeper, caramelized and charred color!
- While searing skewers, preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Once skewers are seared, remove from heat. On an aluminum-lined sheet tray, place skewers (careful to not overlap).
- Place into your preheated oven and finish cooking, about 6-8 minutes.
- Baste with glaze.
- Broil for 3 minutes (keep an eye out to make sure they do not burn).
- Remove once cooked and let skewers rest for about 5-10 minutes.
- Plate and enjoy!
BBQ Skewers: Grill
- Prep by cleaning your grill to avoid sticking by removing residual particles, if any.
- Preheat grill to medium-high.
- Before placing skewers, spray or brush your grill with non-stick food spray or neutral oil of your choice (ie. canola, avocado, etc.)
- Brush BBQ sauce on skewers.
- Place skewers atop your prepped and now heated grill (475 F) and cook for about 8 minutes on one side.
- Flip skewers to the other side, brush on sauce again and cook for another 8 minutes.
- Brush on sauce again and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Once done, remove from grill and let skewers rest for about 5-10 minutes. Plate and enjoy!
