Idaho Candy Company ships its famous classic chocolate candy nationwide on Goldbelly! The Idaho Candy Company’s 54 pack features Idaho Spud, Old Faithful, and Huckleberry Gem bars.
Founded by T.O. Smith in 1901, Idaho Candy Company makes nostalgic chocolate candy in its original Boise, Idaho, factory using many of the original machines from the early 1900s. The candy company creates chocolate candy like the famous Idaho Spud Bar, a wonderful combination of a light cocoa flavored, soft marshmallow center drenched with a dark chocolate coating and then sprinkled with coconut (Sorry, no potato!), which was introduced in 1918.
The package includes 54 bars. Flavors Include:
- 18 Idaho Spud Bars – The Idaho Spud Bar is a wonderful combination of a light cocoa flavored, soft marshmallow center drenched with a dark chocolate coating and then sprinkled with coconut (Sorry, no potato!). It was originally marketed as a “Healthful” candy bar since it is made with agar agar instead of gelatin
- 18 Old Faithful Bars – Named after the geyser in Yellowstone National Park, this candy bar is nothing short of delicious. The Old Faithful is a chocolate peanut cluster bar with a soft white marshmallow center. The vanilla flavored center is topped with whole peanuts and then generously coated with premium quality milk chocolate
- 18 Huckleberry gems – Includes two gem-shaped, huckleberry-flavored marshmallow crèmes enrobed in fine milk chocolate. Huckleberries are only grown in the wild and are very popular in the northwest, with a flavor much like blueberries

Boise, IDIdaho Candy Company began as a dream for T.O. Smith in 1901. He had been a journeyman candy maker in Chicago and Salt Lake City before he moved to Boise, Idaho to help build a local hotel. After construction finished he found himself out of work and started making candy and selling it door to door out of shoe boxes to make ends meet. Eight years later, Smith built a modern factory in Boise to meet the growing needs of the Idaho Candy Company's customers; this is the same 23,000 sq ft factory that they still make their candies in today using some of the very same machinery from the early 1900s!
