Made fresh daily in small batches, Hutchins’ Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage is packed with Prime brisket, pork, Texas jalapeños, and aged cheddar before being smoked to perfection over pecan and oak wood.

Back in 1978, the Hutchins family decided to attach a restaurant to their Dallas-area home to sell slow-smoked, classic Texas-style barbecue. The homespun restaurant took off, and it’s since become one of the region’s most beloved barbecue joints, with locations in McKinney and Frisco, just north of Dallas. Second-generation owners Tim and Tracy Hutchins are carrying on the family legacy, with BBQ that’s been included in Texas Monthly’s Top 50 List for over a decade.

To Serve

Sausage

  • Thaw overnight in the refrigerator.
  • Preheat the oven to 300°F.
  • Place the sausage in a foil pan or oven-safe dish and set it in the oven.
  • Cook for 10 minutes and flip them.
  • Cook for an additional 5 minutes or until internal temperature is 165°F.
  • These steps will ensure the sausage is safely and evenly reheated.
  • Rest for 3-5 minutes.
  • Serve & enjoy!
