Holy Grail’s American Steak and Burger Sampler is a collection of the best beef the USA has to offer. Their USDA “Upper” Prime Black Angus is packed with “beefy” flavor. This is the most tender, succulent, and juicy Black Angus steak you can get. The Tajima steaks and burgers come from the pinnacle of the American-raised Wagyu world. This breed is a cross of Wagyu and Angus, overseen by Mr. Shogo Takeda, who feeds them a traditional yet proprietary Japanese Wagyu diet with high-quality Midwest ingredients for two to three times longer than commercial cattle.
This package includes
- 8 American Wagyu Beef Frankfurters
- 8 Uncured Grass-Fed Beef Frankfurters
- 8 Tajima American Wagyu Burgers (each approx. 1/2 lb.)
- 8 Wagyu Brisket/Short-rib Burgers (each approx. 1/2 lb.)
- Buns not included
- Burgers & Frankfurters ship uncooked and frozen with dry ice, do not remove dry ice with bare hands
- Burgers & Frankfurters are immediately vacuum sealed, and blast frozen to -30F
- The blast freezing method completely protects and preserves the steaks in their original, perfectly-aged state and in no way compromises their quality
- An ice- or cold-water bath is recommended for a quick thaw but the best way is to allow your burgers to defrost in your refrigerator 24-48 hours
- Never defrost in warm or hot water
- Frozen, uncooked burgers may be enjoyed within 4 months
To Serve
Burgers (Grill Method)
- Let the grill preheat for about 15 minutes to reach a temperature of 500 F.
- Set your burger patties directly onto the grate of the grill. Cook for about 4 minutes. Then flip them over with your spatula and cook for another four minutes or so. (Cooking time will vary depending on your desired doneness.) The FDA advises an internal cooking temperature of no less than 160 degrees Fahrenheit for ground beef. Grilling tools like a handy meat thermometer can help ensure the correct temperature for your Wagyu burger.
- When done, remove the beef from the heat and let rest for two minutes. Move the patties to their buns, top with your favorite condiments, and enjoy.
Burgers (Oven Method)
- Preheat the oven to low broil, then set your Wagyu burger patties on a broiler pan. Place the pan on a rack in the oven at about 6" from the broiler. Cook until the patties begin to brown on top (about 4 minutes).
- Remove the pan, flip the patties with a spatula, and put them back in the oven. Cook until the other side begins to brown (about four minutes). Take the meat out of the oven, let it rest for a couple of minutes, and assemble your burgers.
Burgers (Stove Method)
- Warm the skillet on the stove over high heat. Add about a tablespoon of butter to keep the meat from sticking to the pan. Set the patty in the skillet and wait for the bottom to brown (about four minutes). Then flip with a spatula and cook the other side of the patty.
- Cover the skillet with a lid and let the meat cook for about 7 minutes for a medium-rare burger. Remove the meat, set it aside, and let it rest for about five minutes. By letting the meat rest before you cut or bite into it, the meat is able to seal in its juicy flavor. Build your burgers and serve.
Things to Note About Cooking Wagyu Burgers
- Store them quickly: When you purchase Wagyu beef patties online, they’ll arrive in state-of-the-art vacuum packaging. As soon as they arrive, be sure to put them right in your freezer. The less exposure to air your meat has, the lower the chances your beef will experience freezer burn.
- Mind their high-fat content: Wagyu burgers are especially delicious because of their high-fat content. However, this fat content means Wagyu beef cooks much faster than your typical beef burgers. You’ll want to keep a close eye on your burger patties as they’ll be done sooner than you expect.
- Don’t overcook: Wagyu burgers are at their peak tenderness, flavor, and juiciness when served medium-rare. This is noteworthy, as many home chefs cook regular burger patties until they’re well-done.
Frankfurters
- Preheat a grill to medium. Lightly oil the grill grates.
- Grill the frankfurters, turning, until lightly charred in spots, 5 to 7 minutes,
- Toast the buns on the grill, about 30 seconds. Serve the frankfurters on the buns.
- Enjoy!

Authentic Japanese Kobe Beef
Authentic Japanese Kobe Beef
When founders Michael Coggins and Cameron Hughes embarked on their epic journey to procure the world's greatest steaks, they knew they were in for the experience of a lifetime. With decades of collective experience in the best steakhouses, abattoirs, pastures, and butcheries, they connected with artisanal farms who cared deeply about the quality of their product. Holy Grail Steak Co. works exclusively with best-in-class producer partners who live by the Golden Rule of Cow, a steak only tastes as good as it was raised.
Inevitably, this steak pilgrimage lead Holy Grail Steak Co. to the home of Kobe Beef, Japan. Kobe Beef is the name given only to the top cattle of the Hyogo Prefecture and limited to A4 and A5-grade only - literally the cream of the crop. Considered by many the pinnacle of steak, Kobe is simply the most sought-after beef on the planet. All purveyors of Kobe Beef operate under exclusive license of the Kobe-Niku. Holy Grail Steak Co. is only online retailer of Authentic Kobe.
