Family-owned Hinck’s Turkey Farm has been raising the best free range birds on their farm in Manasquan, New Jersey, since 1938. Second generation poultry farmer Richard Hinck transformed a small egg business into a famous ready-to-cook turkey business. Their turkeys are vegetarian-fed and are raised in a natural, clean, drug-free, stress-free environment. Each farm-to-table turkey is seasoned with Hinck’s proprietary blend of spices, then slow roasted for maximum flavor.
This package serves 6-8 people and includes 1 Sous Vide Turkey Breast:
- Each turkey weighs approx. 3.5 -4.5 lbs. and measures approx. 12″ × 8″ × 5″
- Turkey arrives cooked and must be reheated prior to serving
- Turkey Breast ships with frozen with ice packs, may arrive frozen or thawed.
- Upon arrival, place turkey in the refrigerator or freezer.
- Turkey can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 7 days or up to 6 months in the freezer.
To Serve
OVEN: (recommended)
- Turkey Breast should be fully thawed before heating
- Remove breast from refrigerator about two hours before heating
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Place turkey breast in a deep roasting pan with a baking rack
- Add a half inch to an inch of water or chicken broth in the pan, making sure the breast is not touching the liquid
- Cover pan tightly with aluminum foil and place in oven for 40 mins
- Remove foil and place back into oven to crisp skin, about 10 to 15 minutes
- Use a meat thermometer to check that the deepest part of the breast has reached 130°F
- Remove from oven, allow to rest 15 minutes before carving
- Serve and enjoy!
MICROWAVE:
- Slice breast to desired thickness and place in a single layer on a microwavable-safe platter
- Cover turkey slices with a moist paper towel or plastic wrap
- Microwave for 30 to 60 seconds at a time, add time in small increments until the desired temperature is reached.
- Be careful not to overheat as you could cook the juices right out of the slices.
- Serve and enjoy!
