Hartley’s uses antique English equipment and a recipe for pork pies that is so confidential it was never written down. This closely guarded English pork pie recipe is the real deal — inherited from English immigrant Thomas Hartley, who came to the area in 1900. The shop has a signed affidavit that Hartley’s has the authentic original recipe and thrives on the foolproof logic that you should do one thing and do it right.
This package includes your choice of 2 Large and 6 Single English Meat Pies:
- Large pies measure 9" each, serve 3-4 people, and arrive unbaked
- Single pies measure 3.25" each, serve 1 person, and arrived baked
- Every Large Pie comes with 1 bottle of Gravy, 8 oz. each*
- Every 6 Small Pies comes with 1 bottle of Gravy, 8 oz. each*
- *Buffalo Chicken, Chourico, & Chili Pies do not come with gravy

To Serve
Small Pies
- Cook from frozen
- Place pies on cookie sheet and cover them lightly with tin foil
- Bake at 400F for 45 min
Large Pies
- Cook from frozen
- Place pie on cookie sheet and cover it lightly with tin foil
- Bake at 400F for 30 min covered
- Bake for another 30 min uncovered
