Grindstone Coffee & Donuts is Sag Harbor’s destination for freshly-fried brioche donuts. Founded in 2016 by Kyle Sanderson along with friends and family, it’s become an essential part of the Long Island seaside community. These donuts are made in small batches fresh daily with top-quality European butter and all-natural flour via a process that takes two days to complete. The end result is an incomparable, buttery donut with a golden crust and a pleasing chewiness, and they’re topped with housemade glazes and fillings made with fresh, seasonal fruit.
This package serves 4 people and includes
- 10 Mini Donuts (each 1.25 oz.)
- Classic Glaze (4 oz.)
- Rose Hip Glaze (4 oz.)
- Strawberry Glaze (4 oz.)
- 1 pack Red & White Sprinkles
- 1 pack Rose Hips
- 1 pack Rose Petals
- Donuts ship frozen with ice packs, may thaw in transit
- Upon arrival, store donuts sealed at room temperature for up to 2 weeks, or keep frozen in an air-tight container for up to 6 months.
To Serve
- Submerge glaze in hot water for a few minutes.
- If you’re using classic glaze (or if you just prefer warm donuts) place in 300°F oven for approx. 2 min or in microwave for 10-30 seconds.
- Classic glaze should be applied to warm donuts. All other glazes should be applied to mostly cooled donuts.
- Add sprinkles to your glazed donuts.
