150 years after its founding in 1870, Graeter’s is still churning some of Cincinnati’s best and most beloved ice cream. Graeter’s is home to the world’s only French Pot Freezer, which turns out custard-like ice cream 2 gallons at a time. Every flavor starts with a French-style ice cream base made with eggs and fresh local dairy that contains 18% butterfat – nearly double standard ice cream! While Bob Graeter admits that the French Pot process is “not the most efficient way to make ice cream” it’s worth it because it makes superb ice cream with a dense, flavorful, and unique creamy texture. Talk about artisanal!
This package includes 6 pints of Graeter’s Holiday Ice Cream
Flavors Include:
- 2 Peppermint Stick – Bejeweled with bits of peppermint candy and flavored with peppermint oil
- 1 Black Raspberry Chip – Black raspberries grown in Oregon’s Willamette Valley are pureed and combined with our sweet cream and signature chocolate chips
- 1 Cozy Hot Cocoa – Chocolate swirled with gooey marshmallows
- 1 Crème Brûlée – Vanilla custard with caramelized sugar crunch
- 1 Spirited Eggnog – Spiced eggnog with notes of rum, bourbon, and brandy
- Graeter’s Ice Cream ships frozen with dry ice.
- Dry ice may dissipate in transit.
- Do not remove dry ice with bare hands.
- Place ice cream in the freezer immediately upon arrival.
- For the best experience, allow the ice cream to temper for 24 hours in the freezer before enjoying.
