At Washington, DC’s Georgetown Cupcake, sisters Katherine Kallinis Berman and Sophie Kallinis LaMontagne are baking up classic cupcakes using only the finest ingredients including European sweet cream butter, Valrhona and Callebaut chocolate, Madagascar Bourbon vanilla extract, and fresh fruits and citrus. Georgetown Cupcake was founded in 2008 and was an immediate smash hit, spawning additional locations in Bethesda, New York City, Boston, Los Angeles, and Atlanta as well as a hit TLC show (DC Cupcakes) and two best-selling books.
