Since first opening its doors in the heart of Georgetown in 1983, Filomena Ristorante has become one of Washington, DC’s most beloved and iconic Italian restaurants. It was founded by JoAnna Filomena as a love letter to her Abruzzo-born mother, who would host large dinners for friends and family in which she’d serve a wide array of classic & simple Italian dishes and desserts, made with love. A warm and welcoming atmosphere – along with the famous “pasta mamas” who make fresh pasta daily by the front door – still greets customers all these years later, and JoAnna’s classic recipes haven’t changed since day one.
This package serves 4-6 people and includes 12 Jumbo Meatballs
- Each meatball weighs 4 oz. and measures 2.75"
- Meatballs ships frozen with dry ice.
- Dry ice may dissipate in transit.
- Do not remove dry ice with bare hands.
- Store meatballs in the freezer for up to 3 months or in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days.
To Serve
- Place a single layer of meatballs on a cookie sheet or oven-proof pan and cover with aluminum foil.
- Heat at 300° F for 8-12 minutes or until the center is hot.
