All you need to have in the cupboard is vanilla, oil, agave nectar, and applesauce (preferably unsweetened). The mix makes 12 cupcakes or one single-layer 8-inch cake. Also included is our vanilla frosting which consists of rice milk, coconut milk, agave nectar, coconut oil, and vanilla. It arrives in a liquid state, so you’ll need to refrigerate it for at least 4 hours before taking your frosting spatula to it. A single jar will frost 12 cupcakes or one single-layer 8-inch cake.

You Will Need At Home
- 1/2 Cup Canola Oil
- 3/4 Cup Agave Nectar
- 1/3 Cup Unsweetened Applesauce
- 2 tbsp. Vanilla
- 1/2 Cup Hot Water

- Frosting arrives in a liquid state and should be kept in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before using
- Upon arrival, store mix at room temperature and store frosting in refrigerator
- Mix lasts up to 1 year at room temperature and frosting lasts up to 1 month in refrigerator
To Make:
You Will Need (Not Included)
- 1/2 Cup Canola Oil
- 3/4 Cup Agave Nectar
- 1/3 Cup Unsweetened Applesauce
- 2 tbsp. Vanilla
- 1/2 Cup Hot Water
Cake/Cupcakes
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- Place cupcake liners into 1 tray or brush an 8” cake tin with oil and set aside.
- Empty dry ingredients from the box into a medium bowl and whisk until blended well.
- Add oil, agave nectar, applesauce, vanilla, and hot water, and continue to mix until batter is smooth.
- Scoop 1/3 cup of batter into each baking cup, or fill 8” tin with batter and bake for 20 minutes, rotate, and continue baking until cake or cupcakes are done (a toothpick inserted in the center will come out clean).
- Cool for about 2 hours before frosting
- Frost cupcakes with a spatula and enjoy!
