Unlike most American cattle ranches, Double R is located in the Pacific Northwest where the mild seasons are ideal for raising cattle.
This package serves 4-6 people and includes
- 2 DRR USDA Prime Ribeye Steaks (each 12 oz.)
- 2 DRR USDA Prime New York Strip Steaks (each 10 oz.)
- Each steak measures approx. 1" thick
- Steaks are shipped frozen with dry ice.
- Dry ice may dissipate in transit.
- Do not remove dry ice with bare hands.
- Steaks are individually sealed in airtight packaging and arrive inside a reusable thermal bag. The recyclable shipper box is lined with a biodegradable insulated foam cooler.
- Upon arrival, remove items from the reusable thermal bag, and store in the freezer for up to 6 months.
To Serve
- Be sure to completely thaw your steak before cooking.
- Internal temperature is the most accurate way to know if your steak is done. Keep a good quality thermometer on hand.
- Rest your steak at least 10 minutes before serving to let the internal temperature equalize and allow the juices to be reabsorbed.
- Slice steak against the grain – 90° to the direction of the muscle fibers. This makes for a more tender bite.
- Finish your steak with a light sprinkle of flaky salt for a nice presentation and an appetizing salty crunch.
