The Cream’wich brings together two beloved Southern California institutions: Katella Bakery, which has been baking artisan cookies from scratch since 1964; and nostalgic Manhattan Beach Creamery, which makes ice cream in small batches using top-notch ingredients. In 2012, owners Jessica Jordan and Zac Rothman combined the cookies and ice cream, and the end result is the Cream’wich, an ice cream sandwich that’s downright life-changing.
