Cookie Good is a family business run by Melanie & Ross Canter, with help from their 20-something kids, Mia & Gabe. Ross was a Hollywood screenwriter who loved to bake, and during the 2008 writer’s strike, he started selling cookies out of his house. The business quickly grew, and Cookie Good was born! Cookie Good uses only the best ingredients in all of their fun and nostalgic baked goods: chocolates from Callebaut & Van Leer, Nielsen-Massey Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla, and AA sweet creamery butter.

Cookie Flavors Include:
- 1 Apple Jacks – “A” is for apple, “J” is for jacks! We’re not really sure what that means but this cereal does make a great cookie. Cinnamony, sweet & strangely orange in color, our Apple Jacks Cookie might just give the Cap’n a run for his money.
- 1 Blueberry Muffin – Blueberry Muffins are the classic grab-and-go breakfast. Our son had a bag of Entenmann’s Blueberry Little Bites every more before school for 12 years (please don’t judge us — he was a very picky eater). Our cookie version starts with a rich, sour cream dough, is packed with wild blueberries, and has a light crumb topping. And, while this cookie still may be grab-and-go, it proves that the blueberry muffin is not just for breakfast anymore (you can ask our son).
- 1 Caramel-Pretzel Chocolate Chunk – Our best seller. Chocolate chips, dark chocolate chunks, caramel, pretzels, and a sprinkling of crunchy pretzel salt – it’s a salty/sweet, chewy/crunchy and just plain awesome cookie.
- 1 Cheetos – There is something so strange, so surprisingly delicious about this cookie. It’s cheesy, salty, sweet (made with lots and lots of CHEETOS®, and it just might turn your fingertips orange.
- 1 Chocolate Chip – Everybody makes a chocolate chip cookie; we’ve gone the extra mile with ours, creating a deeply caramelized dough and adding in big chunks of rich, dark Callebaut chocolate (these are not your grandma’s chocolate chip cookies…although we’re sure your grandma makes a perfectly fine chocolate chip cookie).
- 1 Circus Animal – Pink and white animal crackers are crumbled into a sprinkly sugar cookie dough, somehow making the classic kindergarten treat even better.
- 1 Ding Dong – Our cookie version of the foil-wrapped classic starts with a dark chocolate cookie base which is filled with vanilla cookie ""cream"" and finished off with a chocolate glaze.
- 1 Dunkaroos – A slightly cinnamony/grahamy cookie is topped with vanilla icing and sprinkles — we’ve done the dunking for you!
- 1 Hostess Apple Pie – Big chunks of apple, a bit of spice and, of course, a sweet glaze — one bite and you’re right back to 2nd grade (in the best possible way).
- 1 Iced Oatmeal – I can still remember the post-nap time treat I had every day in Mrs. King’s nursery school class: Mother’s Iced Oatmeal Cookies and a cold glass of milk. I loved those cookies — crunchy, slightly cinnamony, with a layer of sweet icing that crackled when I bit into it. Now, 50+ years later, our newest cookie takes me right back to Beverly Vista Nursery School circa 1970…I only wish I still had time to squeeze in an afternoon nap!
- 1 Pop-Tarts – Frosted Wild Berry: Chances are you won’t find a Wildlicious Wild Berry at your local farmers’ market, but we scoured the country to get our hands on this elusive fruit. Our lightly sweet cookie dough is filled with Wild Berries (hints of blueberry, raspberry, and strawberry), brushed with a purple glaze, and finally given the signature Pop Tarts’ Wildlicious teal streak.
- 1 Ritz Bits Peanut Butter – I was eating peanut butter with Ritz Crackers long before Ritz Bits hit the market… but seeing these cute, little, pre-fab sandwiches for the first time was a game-changer. Our salty-sweet cookie version is packed with Ritz and then filled with creamy peanut butter. It is so good, so satisfying, you just might find yourself eating them by the handful.
- Items ship without coolant and arrive ready to eat!
- If you have more will power than we do and have decided to freeze some of your cookies or bars, getting them back to “fresh baked” is really easy. Follow the directions below!

Cookie Good is a family business run by Melanie & Ross Canter, with help from their 20-something kids, Mia & Gabe. Ross was a Hollywood screenwriter who loved to bake (his grandfather was one of the original Canter Brothers, who started the iconic Canter's Deli in Los Angeles). During the writer's strike in 2008, Melanie suggested they start selling his cookies out of their house to make some money. An email went out to 100 family and friends, and the business quickly grew from their home kitchen to a part-time commercial kitchen and finally into their Santa Monica retail location.
Cookie Good makes sweets that are fun and nostalgic; cookies & brownies that bring you back to the pure joy of being a six-year-old taking that first bite of your favorite dessert. Cookie Good uses only the best ingredients in all of their baked goods: chocolates from Callebaut & Van Leer, Nielsen-Massey Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla, and AA sweet creamery butter.
