Red, White & Blue Rainbow Cookie Crumb Cake

This star-spangled Red, White & Blue Rainbow Cookie Crumb Cake masterfully merges the classic almond-rich Italian rainbow cookie with the comforting goodness of traditional crumb cake. Each indulgent slice boasts three tender layers of moist, almond-flavored cake in patriotic shades of red, white, and blue, artfully stacked with a luscious spread of raspberry jam and velvety apricot jam. Crowning this dreamy cake is a luxurious blanket of velvety chocolate ganache, and it’s generously sprinkled with a golden cinnamon crumb topping that’s perfectly crispy and delightfully buttery. A playful scattering of rainbow sprinkles adds a cheerful pop of color!

Comfortland opened in 2010 in the Astoria neighborhood of Queens, New York, founded by Donnie and Montana D’Alessio, who became local legends for their comfort food paradise Queens Comfort – and famously got engaged on an episode of Guy Fieri’s “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.” Comfortland has earned a devoted following for its no-holds-barred menu of over-the-top breakfast and brunch dishes as well as scratchbaked desserts.

Home of the Rainbow Cookie Crumb Cake

Comfortland opened in 2010 in the Astoria neighborhood of Queens, New York, founded by Donnie and Montana D’Alessio, who became local legends for their comfort food paradise Queens Comfort – and famously got engaged on an episode of Guy Fieri’s “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.” Comfortland has earned a devoted following for its no-holds-barred menu of over-the-top breakfast and brunch dishes as well as scratchbaked desserts. Their most popular sweet by far? Their Rainbow Cookie Crumb Cake, which has gone viral with good reason.

This masterful creation brings together the best of two classic New York desserts: the almond-y, raspberry flavor and rich texture of Italian rainbow cookies, and the butteriness and cookie crumble topping of crumb cake, with rich chocolate ganache thrown in for good measure. The Rainbow Cookie Crumb Cake has become a New York icon, and now it’s finally shipping nationwide!
