As a child, Clementine’s Creamery founder Tamara Keefe’s life changed forever when her mom bought a $2 hand-cranked ice cream maker from a garage sale. Making ice cream by hand became a Sunday ritual, and the power of ice cream to make people smile and bring them together stayed with Tamara throughout her career working for a St. Louis Fortune 500 company. When she was ready for a change of pace she spent her life’s savings on an ice cream kitchen and cashed out her 401K, and in 2014 Clementine’s Ice Cream was born.
