Swim your way into Mom’s heart with this gourmet North Atlantic salmon fillet dinner for two! It also includes fine french Potatoes Dauphine, a fresh Brittany blend of vegetables, and delicious raspberry macarons for dessert.

Chesapeake Bay Gourmet specializes in regional foods from the Mid-Atlantic and beyond. Since opening in Jessup, Maryland, Chesapeake Bay Gourmet has been working with local butchers, farmers, and artisans from the Chesapeake Bay Watershed to source the highest-quality meats and side dishes, including USDA Prime Black Angus beef from J.W. Trueth, free-range turkeys raised by Mennonite farmers, and Heritage bacon from Kunzler.

This package serves 2 people and includes

  • Wild Penned North Atlantic Salmon Fillets (1 lb.)
  • Imported French Potatoes Dauphine (2 lbs.)
  • Imported French Brittany Blend Vegetables (2 lbs.)
  • 2 Raspberry Hexagon Macrons (each 1.65 oz.)
  • Ships frozen with dry ice
  • Do not remove dry ice with bare hands
  • Upon arrival immediately place in the freezer until ready to thaw and cook
  • May be kept frozen for up to 6 months

To Serve

Wild Penned North Atlantic Salmon Fillets

  • Remove from freezer 2 days before cooking and thaw.
  • 30 minutes before cooking, remove from the refrigerator and bring the Salmon to room temperature.
  • Warm a large nonstick skillet with oil over medium-low heat.
  • Season the fish with salt and pepper.
  • Raise the heat to medium-high.
  • Place the salmon, skin-side up in the pan. Cook until golden brown on 1 side, about 4 minutes. Turn the fish over with a spatula, and cook until it feels firm to the touch and the skin is crisp if desired, about 3 minutes more. The skin can be served or removed easily with a knife or spoon.
  • Transfer to a plate and serve as desired.

French Potato Dauphine

  • Preheat oven to 390°F.
  • Arrange frozen potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Place sheet on middle shelf oven and bake for 10 minutes (or until desired color). Turn potatoes half way through baking.

French Brittany Blend Vegetables – Stovetop

  • Bring water to full boil in a covered saucepan.
  • Add frozen vegetables and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes. Stir once during cooking time. Avoid overcooking. Drain and season to taste. Serve at once.

French Brittany Blend Vegetables – Microwave

  • Place frozen beans in a microwaveable dish.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of water and cover.
  • Cook on high setting for 6 to 8 minutes. Stir halfway through cooking time. Drain and season to taste. Let stand for 1 minute and serve at once.
