- Upon arrival, place in the refrigerator for up to 4 days
To Serve
- Preheat oven to 350° F and remove all items from packaging.
- On a lined baking tray, place chicken and heat in oven until internal temperature reaches 165 F, about 8 minutes.
- While reheating chicken, heat a pan on your stovetop over medium heat. Melt 1 tsp. of butter per bun and gently press buns into butter, toasting for 45 seconds or until the desired color is achieved. Set aside until chicken is ready to serve.
- Carefully remove from oven and allow the chicken to cool until safe to handle, about 3 minutes.
- Once ready, place Joysauce on bottom bun and mayo on top bun, add chicken to bottom bun, dust chicken with BBQ seasoning. Mix slaw and pickle dressing together and top chicken with mixture and add top bun.
- Serve and enjoy!
Fries
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Spread out on a lined baking tray and add to preheated oven – cook until crispy, around 18 minutes (15 minutes for convection oven).

Joyland’s roadside-style burgers start with a custom blend of grass-fed beef from Tennessee’s Bear Creek Farm, and they’re seared to crusty perfection on a griddle before being topped with American cheese, onion, pickles, and secret Joy Sauce. And as for the fried chicken sandwiches, they’re made by dredging chicken thighs in buttermilk and seasoned flour before being fried golden-brown and topped with BBQ seasoning, pickle slaw, and Joy Sauce.
