Founded by Carlo Guastaffero in Hoboken, New Jersey, in 1910, Carlo’s is today renowned as one of America’s very best bakeries. Bartolo Valastro Sr. acquired Carlo’s in 1963, and his son Buddy took it over at the age of 17. Thanks to the success of the hit TLC show “Cake Boss,” Buddy Valastro and his bakery have both rocketed to international superstardom, but at its heart Carlo’s remains an old-school, family-run Italian bakery.

- 1 Red Velvet – This southern classic with moist cake and cream cheese frosting. The cake is adorned with chocolate shavings and crumbles of red velvet cake
- 1 Confetti – Vanilla cake with a burst of sprinkles layered with a sweet vanilla confetti icing and topped with rainbow sprinkles.
- 2 Chocolate Fudge – A quintessential chocolate cake, iced with a rich chocolate fudge frosting, topped with chocolate ganache, and adorned with chocolate sprinkles
- 1 Black & White – Carlo’s Bakery bestselling cake! Alternating layers of vanilla cake and chocolate cake filled with a rich chocolate fudge frosting, iced in sweet vanilla buttercream and covered in sprinkles
Frosting designs may slightly vary to accommodate seasonal packaging requirements
- Cakes ship frozen with dry ice, may thaw in transit
- Do not remove dry ice with bare hands
- To serve, leave at room temperature in shell for around 1 hour
- If not serving immediately, store in the refrigerator for up to 72 hours
