While their other pint and scoop flavors change weekly (and sometimes daily!), these 6 remain will on the menu for good, and for good reason. Here’s a little rundown of the staple six that come in this pack!
Vanilla is made with Heilala Vanilla beans; Chocolate is made with extra dark cocoa and a pinch of Trapani sea salt; Red Flag is an ode to strawberry shortcake that lets housemade graham crunch shine, and was one of the first flavors Hallie ever made; Caffè Bianco Stracciatella takes the Italian stracciatella technique and gives it a Panna-style spin by cold-steeping coffee beans in sweet cream and layering in an extra fruity Amano Chocolate to bring out the base’s fruity coffee notes; Cookies ‘n Panna is what every cookies ’n cream wishes it could be (you’ll see); and finally, Aud’s Dream is a vanilla sweet cream with thick peanut butter swirl — an ode to Hallie’s mom’s favorite combo.
Inspired by the cafes and gelaterias of Rome, which are a ubiquitous part of daily life in the eternal city, Caffè Panna is Hallie Meyer’s love letter to ice cream and Italy. Open morning till night, they churn every ice cream flavor onsite daily using the finest ingredients. Fresh fruits are sourced from their neighbors at the Union Square Greenmarket and specialty ingredients are imported from Italy. You can taste the difference!

- Caffè Bianco Stracciatella – Joe Coffee beans cold-steeped in sweet cream, resulting in a bright white coffee flavor with layers of fruity Amano Chocolate shards
- Chocolate – Made with extra dark cocoa and a hint of Trapani sea salt
- Cookies ’n Panna – Oreo infused ice cream with housemade signature Oreo brittle
- Red Flag – Sweet cream ice cream with strawberry swirl and housemade graham crunch
- Vanilla – Made with Heilala Vanilla beans
- Ice cream ships frozen with dry ice.
- Dry ice may dissipate in transit, product may thaw.
- Do not remove dry ice with bare hands.
- Upon arrival, store ice cream in the freezer for up to 2 months.
To Serve
- Remove ice cream from the freezer 5 mins before serving to soften.

Caffè Panna was opened in 2019 by Hallie Meyer, a lifelong ice cream lover who has cooked in Southern Italy, at the Rome Sustainable Food Project, and in the beloved Roman gelateria, Otaleg. During her time in Rome, Meyer was inspired by the cafes and gelaterias of Rome, which are a ubiquitous part of daily life in the eternal city. Upon her return to New York, Hallie first started selling her ice cream at a popup in the South Bronx called Tripla Panna before turning her sights to opening Caffè Panna. Panna is the Italian word for cream.
With neighborhood spots in Gramercy and Greenpoint, Caffè Panna welcomes people throughout the day for coffee, ice cream, granita, and affogatos in ever changing flavors. They churn every ice cream flavor onsite daily. Fresh fruits are sourced from their neighbors at the Union Square Greenmarket and local purveyors. While specialty ingredients are imported from Italy - pistachios and olive oil from Sicily, fresh cream and hazelnuts from Piemonte, you can taste the difference!
Caffè Panna's affogato sundaes are the perfect example of Meyer's ice cream whisperer status. Ice cream doused in espresso with drizzles, crunch, and a pillowy mountain of panna (whipped cream). The sundae is a testament to Italian tradition and American creativity. Or in simpler terms, it is "Extra. Extra sweet, extra salty, extra rich, extra fresh, extra crunchy, but somehow just a millimeter shy of too much." (GrubStreet).
