Southern Pies, Straight from the Heart.
Southern Pies, Straight from the Heart.
Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop was inspired by the kitchens of founders Scott and Meredith’s grandmothers—Ruth and Edith—whose Arkansas and Mississippi recipes, strong values, and unforgettable pies left a lasting impression. Scott grew up on a Missouri farm helping his Granny bake fruit pies and preserves, while Meredith spent weekends in Memphis making cream and pecan pies with her beloved Nanny, known locally as the “pie lady.”
Those cherished memories became the heart of Buttermilk Sky, from their signature Southern recipes to their charming 4-inch Mini Pies inspired by a child-sized skillet from Meredith’s childhood. Today, their pie shops carry on that legacy, serving handmade Southern pies, biscuits, and sweet traditions rooted in family and hospitality.
