Today it’s run by fourth-generation pitmasters Barrett Black and Eric Lenderman, making it the oldest BBQ joint in Texas that’s been owned by just one family. Black’s has vowed to never change a thing, and millions of BBQ lovers travel from miles around every year to visit one of their four Central Texas locations and get a taste of the BBQ that put it on the map all those years ago.
