Some restrictions applyInspired by classic Southern bread pudding and Gullah sweet potato pone, this sweet potato bread pudding is studded with raisins and pineapple, and is a family favorite and Bert & T’s top seller!
Growing up on James Island just outside Charleston, Christina Miller started baking at age 4, helping her grandmothers (affectionately known as “Bert and T”) roll pie crusts and fill cake pans. Her love of baking continued into adulthood, and in 2021 she launched Bert & T’s Desserts. Christina’s traditional recipes for classic Southern and Gullah-inspired desserts have been passed down over generations through her grandmothers as well as the many other women she grew up around, and every item on her menu is made from scratch, using local ingredients whenever possible. This is a true taste of the Lowcountry, and it’s shipping nationwide!
