Bauer’s Candies ships its famous Modjeskas nationwide on Goldbelly! This is caramel done the right way! Bauer’s caramels are made with old fashioned, rich, and pure ingredients. Each bite is smooth and delicious. This melt-in-your-mouth caramel can be found in several different flavors, including original vanilla, bourbon sea salt, sea salt, pumpkin spice, and dark chocolate peppermint.
Modjeskas have been manufactured by family-owned and operated Bauer’s Candies since 1889. Bauer’s Candies products are still crafted the old fashioned way, with pure ingredients, and with the same recipe as their founder in 1889. Even as Bauer’s has evolved, the candy has always remained the same. The pillowy soft marshmallows and deliciously smooth caramel is homemade, and every piece is hand-dipped and hand wrapped. No automation, no outside sources — every piece of candy that leaves the factory has been handcrafted in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.

Modjeskas have been manufactured by Bauer's Candies of Louisville, KY since 1889. Originally named "Caramel Biscuit," Modjeskas are a soft and delicious confection with a creamy marshmallow center hand dipped into a rich homemade caramel. Bauer's Candies is a family-owned and family-operated company that has been passed down for generations. Traditionally, the mastery of confection making was inherited by the Bauer sons until the current owner, Anna Bauer, took her place at the head of the table, making her the first woman to run the family operation. Under her leadership, Bauer's Candies expanded out of the family basement and into a new age, but she has never lost sight of Bauer family standards and values.
