Ackroyd’s signature Scottish meat pie: fine-ground beef seasoned with the house blend, in a handmade traditional pie shell — the item Al and Silas Ackroyd first perfected when they opened their Detroit Scottish butcher shop in 1949 and the one the third-generation Redford, Michigan institution has been known for ever since. The foundational product; the pie that built one of America’s only traditional Scottish bakeries. Four per pack.

Pies

  • Items ship frozen with dry ice, may dissipate in transit.
  • Do not remove dry with bare hands.
  • Upon arrival, store items in the freezer for up to 12 months or in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • For best results, items should be thawed overnight in the refrigerator before baking.

  • Sauce arrives ready to enjoy!
  • Refrigerate sauce after opening and consume within 8 weeks.

To Serve
From Refrigerator

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches at least 165°F degrees.
  • Remove, serve & enjoy!

From Frozen

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Cover items in foil and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  • Remove foil and continue baking for an additional 15 minutes or until internal temperature reaches at least 165°F degrees.
