Traditional Scottish beef bangers from Ackroyd’s: hand-seasoned, stuffed in a natural sheep casing, and made to the same standard Al and Silas Ackroyd were producing when they opened their Detroit Scottish butcher shop in 1949. About a pound, 10–12 links — the breakfast sausage or bangers-and-mash centerpiece from the third-generation Redford, Michigan institution that has been grinding its own Scottish meats for 75 years.
